Along with Ilya Traber, his business partner Vladimir Danilenko has also been detained. Traber himself will be questioned in Moscow, as the criminal case was initiated by the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
Vladimir Danilenko is Traber’s long-standing business associate. He was his junior partner in several companies, including Primorsky UPC LLC (a deep-water port in the Vyborg district of the Leningrad region), Fort LLC (estates covering 3,600 hectares on the coast of the Gulf of Finland in the Primorsk area), RR-City (a company that undertook to complete long-stalled construction projects in the Leningrad region in exchange for vacant land), and others.
Today, Danilenko and Traber are also linked through assets such as the Baltic Ship Mechanical Plant, Eco Fleet LLC in the St. Petersburg port — both companies with revenues of around one billion rubles — as well as a debt servicing business for large financial institutions, PKI SPB LLC.
